In today's episode of civil twilight, we look at light shed on behavior patterns. Covid has permanently changed the dynamic of the work environment and relationships between peers and senior staff. Contracts and labor laws are complicated on many levels with states rights and Federal law governing. Picture a small group within the technology department where the modus operandi of the lead is shrewdly setting up contracts for work as a means for personal control over all aspects and setting those contracts up for failure as a smoke screen to cover the true root of the issue-lack of technical knowledge, inability to lead and personal ambition at any cost. This pattern put to use is: Marketing controls all internal and external communications within the company. The lead is not happy with a communication and gets permission to retain a contract for technical writing expertise and communications management. Once the communications pieces are complete with a working project management tool set up as a hub, the contract is breached and the contractor is locked out of the tool and communications management under the guise of shifting responsibilities to suit the needs of the group.
Who has experienced the maniacal and manipulative?
